How long is the AZ-104 exam?
You get 100 minutes. The exam may include interactive components and labs.
What is the passing score for the AZ-104 exam?
A score of 700 or greater is required to pass.
What experience do I need before taking the AZ-104 exam?
Microsoft expects you to be familiar with operating systems, networking, servers and virtualization, and to have experience with PowerShell, the Azure CLI, the Azure portal, ARM templates or Bicep, and Microsoft Entra ID.
How long do I have to wait between retakes if I fail?
You can retake the exam after 24 hours. After a second attempt, you wait 14 days between each retake, with up to five attempts in the 12 months from your first.
How long is the Azure Administrator Associate certification valid?
The certification is valid for one year. You renew it for free by passing an online assessment on Microsoft Learn, which opens six months before it expires.
